The willow tunnel has been cut. Jo Williams has worked extremely hard. If anyone wants to make use of some willow it’s by the fence. They may help themselves, donations to PTFA would be appreciated!

Yesterday, Year 6 took part in their 'Mrs E's Freeze', where they made and delivered Christmas cards to the local area. We hope this spread some good cheer!

On behalf of the whole school, we would like to thank Reverend Nicky and the Open the Book team for their help in making our Christingles yesterday. This is one of our favourite spiritual and wholesome activities of the year. Thank you also to the PTFA for organising the oranges!

DON'T FORGET! Today, Year 6 will be selling their homemade gifts as well as Gluten free and vegan gingerbread biscuits to raise money for their class fish tank project. Robins will also be selling some handmade wreaths - so please bring plenty of change! Many thanks for your continued support.

On Wednesday after school Year 6 will be holding a Handmade Gift Sale, to raise money to set up their fish tank. They have been busy making bookmarks, sun catchers and key rings that will be perfect for gifts! Prices range from £1-£4. Many thanks for your support!

We all had an incredible time at the pantomime yesterday watching Robin Hood! Thank you so much to all who helped with this excellent experience for the entire school. Thank you especially to the PTFA for funding the whole event!

Year 5 and 6 had a brilliant topic day yesterday . They all dressed as evacuees, learned about different artefacts and wartime songs and then finished the day with a fantastic guest, Nigel Clarke, who told us all about our local area and how it was impacted by WWII. Thank you Nigel for coming in!

MORE CAKES TOMORROW! We still have lots of cakes left, so will be holding another cake sale tomorrow after school (there's too many for the staff to eat- and that's saying something)! Thank you so much to all who have bought one so far, we truly appreciate it !

Some of our year 6 class had a great start to the week with a Cookery lesson at Woodroffe, led by their Food Technology teacher. They learned how to safely use a grill - as you can see they were pretty happy with the results! Thank you so much to Woodroffe School for making this happen. The rest of the class will get to do this next week!

Year 5 and 6 were very excited to meet Emma Carroll today, who gave some fantastic writing tips as well as introduce them to her new book. It was a fantastic experience and lots of the children got their own signed copy of the book! Thank you so much to Woodroffe for inviting us!

On Friday, we will be having our first 'Stop the Clock' day of the year, where we stop our learning and focus on a different theme for the day. We will be learning all about #HelloYellow, which raises awareness for mental health in young people. We are encouraging the students to come to school wearing an item of yellow - a cardigan, socks, hairband etc with the rest of their normal school wear.
